The Indian Rosewood Ribs are
thicknessed to 1.8mm. Final thicknessing is done using a block plane.

As the ribs are bent they are
fitted to the mold |

The back is thicknessed and
jointed useing wedges to clamp the two halves. |

block and the back plate ready for final thicknessing before the braces
are applied |

The Cedar top is prepared in
the same way as the back |
| The Rosette is assembled ready
to be inlayed into the top |

The jointed soundboard is
planed to a uniform thickness before the outline is marked and cut
and the rosette can be inlayed. |
| The rosette channel is cut
using a router as a circle cutter |

The rosette can then be inlayed
in to the top. |
